I had the good fortune to get invited to a lovely Memorial Day bbq/house show. I honestly could not have had a better day. The house was surrounded by woods and brick buildings and was an absolutely magical way to see some music played.
Knock knock sounded amazing
There were dogs running around and a fire. I really cannot describe the atmosphere fully.
The Smittens were adorable. This guy had such a rad low Stephin Merritt voice and then busted out a melodica, so of course I loved it.
The kids were entertained for hours throwing ice and water into the fountain. kids.
