Where did you find your Palaminos? I had a similar experience (I heard about them on Bullseye) and yeah, totally had to have them. Figured I'd have to order them online, but then, of course, I found them in Portland. Now I just gotta get this guy to sharpen them for me: http://vimeo.com/38714135
I bought them at pencils.com. I also bought the sharpener and I totally recommend it. I'm glad I'm not the only dork, I should have figured you would already know about the Blackwings
They really are amazing right? Writing with one of them and then with another pencil you can immediately see the difference. I got the same kind as you, bu there's another version that has a different graphitebut are more for drawing than writing. I need those too.
