Sacramento is bustling!

It's 9 am and this is happening directly outside of my bedroom window. The band kicked it off with 'Smooth' by Carlos Santana and Rob Tomas. It was my personal hell. Oh, what is that? You are playing 'Love Shack' now? Perfect. I didn't want to sleep anyway.

So I left the house. These marbleized roses were intriguing me.
Headed over to the Sacto MoFo. It was crazy, as I'm sure you have heard.

needing a spring wardrobe pick-me-up

Still recovering from the shopping euphoria induced by the $1 sale at Bows and Arrows yesterday.
I got some killer shoes, a 1950s cocktail dress and tons of scraps of fabric for future pieces.This is going to come as a shock to some of you, but I even bought a swimsuit. I haven't actually worn one since Junior high and until yesterday at Freestyle, I had not found one that I liked that fit right.It got me pretty jazzed on spring/summer wardrobe musings. Also at Freestyle there were a couple pieces from an H&M Marimekko collection. Which I can't beleive I never knew about. Not that H&M ever has anything in my size.
